The lights that indicate an unread message no longer appear when I open the Collector Forums. Is it just my computor or site wide?

It happens to us about every fourth time we check the forums. If I close and do it again it will work later. For us when this happens it also doesn't list the time we last visited the site.

The lights are controlled by a 'cookie' - a small encoded file sent to your browser by the forum software. The cookie is refreshed each time you visit the forum, however you must actually leave the forum for the refresh to occur. Doing a 'reload' or 'refresh' from your browser is not sufficient to make this happen. You can either close your browser, or just visit a different web site (not the HL-dot-com site) and then go to this forum. The lights should then be set to reflect the latest info.

And then again sometimes the forum software just gets confused. :-)
