Great news!!! This is a great light to visit, but the only drawback that I had while we were there, was not being able to climb it. Hopefully this will change in the future!!!

That's doubly good news- this means that Cape Lookout will possibly be eligible for next years Wacko Pin.
They seem to already have the organization and the planned restoration and the need for money.

More good news, this light isn't in the same County as Currituck. Oh, but that would only be a problem if the major restoration work had been done :rolleyes:
