Anagram Challenge - 11/11/01 12:44 AM
What lighthouse names can you make with the letters in the following phrase?
Harbour Lights Collectible Lighthouses - positively America's best presents.
Rules:
You can only use a letter as many times as it appears in the phrase (up to 2 'g', for example)
If the lighthouse name takes up two or more words, just the main word is acceptable.
One contribution per person per day, please.
Here's a starter: Cape Hatteras

Point Arena
But you know John it may actually be MORE of a challenge to come up with a lighthouse that doesn't use all the letters!
Like Biloxi. It took me a little while to come up with that one...and then it was because I said to myself "There's no "X" here so what lighthouse has an "X" in it."

Assateague
I would estimate that I am 5:1 with lights that come immediately to my mind that fit to those that don't. Any "F's"...Like Fenwick and Fort Jefferson won't fit...and the lack of "K" knocks out Kilauea and Selkirk. BUT if it has a lighthouse, Ypsilanti would fit!
I suspect the challenge here will come somewhere down the line when coming up with new lights that haven't already been named becomes an issue.
