Nice to have folks including the link. I hope someone (like this forum's Cruisey hint hint) is gathering up all the links to the these foreign, err, International lighthouses so they can be included in the Index.

Since Bryan has used the North Foreland I will use the F and go with South Foreland this time. It is perfect timing..... and that it a clue to a piece of incorrect trivia in another thread…

Re: International Lighthouse Name Game, Part IV - 04/05/01 09:47 PM

Actually Brian, I believe that Altacarry Head is the same light as Rathlin Island East which was submitted in Thread I so we could have disallowed it. However, since we are such a forgiving group and Paul has already given you #@** for the dredded "Y" we'll let it go ..... this time!

You have to get out of Ireland Brian! There's a whole other world out there!

Now Derith, you are surely joshing with us. We just know you've been waiting for that "I"!

Here's a real spindley one for you:

Re: International Lighthouse Name Game, Part IV - 04/06/01 02:58 AM

My records show that we have only had one international lighthouse in all the posts...that started with the letter F.......
wonder where Bryan will find one....if he is on schedule, he should be posting one shortly.....
