Is this the only HL signing event this year? We have been going to City Lights in San Diego in October for the signing event with Bill Younger.

I sincerely hope to make this event. A trip to see Bill in Wells would be a great run for the "Orange Blossom Special". It would certainly be great to see Bill again. It's been quite awhile since we saw him last. I really do miss the good old days when collecting HL's was truly an adventure that bonded us all together.

The weather looks perfect for the trip to the LHD in Wells, ME, today. The "Orange Blossom Special" has been fueled and readied for the journey. ETD is approximately 1000 hrs. ETA is approximately just before noon. I will report on the events of the day later tonight.

What a great looking group of old friends! Bill looks great -- as do Bob M, Wacko Paul and Sean (Sean Diego).

Congrats to Shellie for the gold piece!

It was a fabulous time to get together with old friends even if it was only for a brief period of time. Bill is still Bill. He hasn't changed a bit. Great man and still a great entertainer.

Yes, there were Founder's Collection pieces for prizes. We were fortunate because my bride (Lorna) won a HL 168, Cape May NJ with flag# 8. Now that's a real trophy to bring back from our trip to Maine!

Nice crowd in attendance. Great time was had by all!

Paul brought me to a special area at the LHD to view the available AP's. Unfortunately, there were none from my area of the country that I wanted for my collection.

Thanks for the photos and the updates. Was not able to make it this year. Looks like fun was had by all.

Glad to see the Brady's and Bob make it along with Sean. Any other forum members make it?

Sounds like a few goodies were handed out. Congrats to those who walked out with a little something special.

Hey Bob! You DO collect the downeast part of Maine don't you? Just wondering if a particular red and white stripped lighthouse made an sneaky appearance. (look to the left for a hint...)
I am on the HUNT! wink

Can't wait to see the next HL Musings.....

Re: 2010 In store signing Event Bill Younger - 10/11/10 06:39 PM

They had a typed list of the AP's for sale but i took Bob back to show him what was still left for sale when he got there..

By the way Sue and I are sitting in a quaint sandwich place in downtown Phoenix, NY having lunch with Mombo as I type... They have WiFi here..

I will post images from our leaf peeping tonight as last night the internet connection wasn't good enough to upload images..

Will there be any 2011 signings by Bill Younger , even at Lighthouse Depot?
I would like to know so that I can make vacation plans to attend.

Very doubtful, John. But call Harbour Lights and ask.
