Bill Events in Indiana & Wisconsin

Sue and I are heading to Northern Indiana and a Bill event in New Carlisle, IN at the Village Shoppes from 12-2pm on Saturday August 2nd.. then on to Sturgeon Bay, WI and the Bill event at the Audrey M. Off Gallery also from 12-2pm on Sunday August 3rd..

I will be posting images from those events in this thread...

We'll be at the Indiana event tommorrow, seeing if we can beat Sue out for the Gold!

We'll be at the Wisconsin event, Paul make sure you bring rain gear, its monsoon season up here.

Mike didn't win the Gold lighthouse but he already has a Golden treasure right there in front of him!!


Dave Hemming of Shelbyville, a Hoosierlighthousing Club member and connected collector here in the forums, won the Gold lighthouse... the club (over 14 members) was well represented at the signing especially by Kate and Dave by winning the Gold..


We got a welcomed rainbow when we arrived at our hotel near the Milwaukee Airport on the way to Sturgeon Bay tomorrow..

We must say, yesterday's in-store event was the best event of the year. Surprising how winning the gold makes you feel like your smiles are never ending. Thanks to Harbour Lights and all the Hoosier Lighthousing members who attended. There was a great turn out. See you next weekend at our club meeting.

Congrats to the Hemmings! Looks like they must have made a stop in Milwaukee on their travels (the end of the rainbow...).

We had a fabulous time at the Wisconsin event today, spent some quality time with Sue and Paul and then Dave and Audrey our hosts for the day...

Perhaps the best part of the event, other than winning a Selkirk piece (Woo Hoo! kept the winning streak alive ) was when talking with Audrey and Dave about the San Diego event that someone from Sturgeon Bay had won a gold piece at the regional. I couldn't put a last name with it but it was Dave, well Dave says "Martin?" I said maybe, Paul had the winning list with him, ran to the car, came back in, he confirmed that Dave had won. Dave had sent one voucher in, and then put the wrong phone number on it. He was obviously pretty happy!

A great time and another great day!

We didn't have time to Goldplate it but Dave Martin didn't seem to care since a Goldplated version will be on it's way to him soon...

The Gold winner at todays Wisconsin event was very happy Ed Smuke...



After the event we drove up to Cana Island for a Bill in front of the lighthouse with lighthouse image and we were greeted with a very overcast 5pm sky, in fact we just got back on the road to Green Bay when it let loose with a downpour of rain!!

You hit it right on the head Paul. I'll take my gold any day!
