HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Heather! I wish I was 17 again. You are just at the right age for Mom & Dad to buy you your first Corvette. Although they only seat two people, they are very economical to own and operate. A red convertible would probably be an excellent choice for a young lady.

Bob, thanks for your generous offer to allow Heather the use of your Vette. I will send her out over the Christmas break to pick it up. We are probably headed east for spring break, so she can return it then. Boy is she going to be excited when I tell her! For now, all she has to drive is her raspberry color S-10 (when the boys want to spin her up they call it pink). I'm sure the Vette will do a better job getting her to school on those cold, snowy mornings for her 0515 swim practice.
17 is "her" number. Total infatuation with it. Made her reunion when she was handed the #17 mini!
