#304 Ludington Pier arrives - 03/27/04 05:12 AM
Just picked up the latest release from my dealer, #304 Ludington Pier. This is a wonderful piece with exceptional detail and three people on it. The metal steps and the chain link really stand out on this piece as the detail just keeps getting better. It also has one figure ne that appears to be cleaning an exhaust vent on the latern room walkway, one that appears to be painting the chain fence, and one on the sailboat. When I first saw the pictures of this piece I was not overly excited about this one, but when you see it up close it is a keeper.

After a long cold winter with no releases the last couple of months of 2003, it is nice to see the pace picking up with new releases.

I'm still waiting for the new releases to show up in Indianapolis. Yesterday I went to all three of the dealers near my house, and none of them had any of the new releases yet. One of them had a 50% off sale though. No longer going to carry Harbour Lights there. Kind of bittersweet. I added a few more lights to my collection, but lost a good dealer.
