2004 Wacko Pin Project- Esopus Meadows - 10/18/03 01:20 PM
Hello All!
I've been asked to make some important announcements about the 2004 Wacko Pin Project.
There have been some changes in the makeup of the Wacko Pin Commitee. Barbara Hupp has decided to step down as the Chairperson of the Commitee and will no longer be officially associated with the project. She will of course continue to assist the rest of us in any way she can.
Unfortunately she has some health issues that preclude her from being so intimately involved in the process at this time. Hopefully she will be feeling better in the near future.
Darlene Cook, who has long been involved in the Wacko Pin Project, has agreed to take over Barbara's jobs.
The Project is moving along- the design for the Pin is at the Designer and the other Volunteers are continuing to perform their tasks in anticipation of next Spring when we will be selling the Pins to raise money for the continuing restoration of Esopus Meadows Lighthouse.
We look forward to this years Pin to be as successful as the Pins in the past have been. We know we can count on our fellow Forum Members to make this happen.
Thanks to all that have participated in the Wacko Pin Project over the last few years , but especially to Barbara Hupp who this project would truly not even exist without her input.
Dennis
