The Ancient Mariner Sails to Door County... - 04/22/04 11:44 PM

The Ancient Mariner (AKA Fred Kuhlman) will be heading cross-country from San Jose to Door County and then on to the Outer Banks.

He leaves Friday April 30 and will be making the cross-country drive solo in the big Suburban.

As in the past, we'll be following Fred by checking in with him by phone each night to see how he's doing and how the trip is progressing.

If you'd like to be among those who take turns giving Fred a call, please email me at chidester@lighthousekeepers.com.

It would be nice if there were 5-7 people willing to rotate through the calls.

Thanks...

John,
Just in case you didn't get my email, put me on the list to call Fred. He and I have spoken recently, and I told him I would put in a few calls. smile

Thanks John and all you special people.

Believe me when I say I feel your kind thoughts and prayers all the way.

My cell phone minutes are very limited in time but nationwide (no roaming) in scope If you would like to say Hi I'd be more than happy to hear from you. But it will be just Hi (60 sec limit) Don't want to put the burden on John, so if someone else would like to take over as moderator and space out all secondary calls so they aren't all bunched up the first night, the position is open.

Thanks to all of you in advance for your attention.

Fred

Fred,

The schedule is set and you are cleared for take-off. We won't share the schedule with you, that way it will be a surprise caller when you get your call each evening.

Fair winds and following seas, and keep the radar detector on.
